[Written with J. M. W. Turner's painting, 'Rain, Steam, and Speed - The Great Western Railways' (1844) as a prompt.] Water buoys us, as the line between rain and river fades. Towering arches bridge the divide, looming human mastery through the haze. Steam assaults torrent, far away, but all we hear is wind's howl and water flowing up, flying above. Today viaduct becomes aqueduct, as our amazed mouths fill with riverrain, distance disappears in train; high above us and miles away, when the deluge fills the day.
